The Honeybees may collect personal information about you if you choose to subscribe to Friends of the Bees, ask to be on the mailing list for our Workshops, ask to join the Bees via audition process or become a member of The Bees.

Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by the Honeybees Choir (“Honeybees”).
 
Collection
We usually collect personal information about individuals directly from those individuals.
 
The personal information we collect may be provided in forms filled out by individuals, face-to-face engagements, email messages, telephone conversations or by third parties. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that contact.
 
The main type of personal information collected by the Honeybees relate to the contact details of our members and guests, which may include names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses.
 
Use and disclosure
We only use personal information for the purposes for which we collected it - purposes which are directly related to one of our functions or activities. The main purposes in collecting personal information are:       
 

  • for membership purposes;
  • to respond to a request or query;
  • to keep members and guests informed of Honeybees news and performances;
  • for any other purposes related to the Honeybees and Honeybees’ performances.
We do not give personal information about an individual to other individuals, bodies, agencies or anyone else unless one of the following applies:
 
  • the individual has consented;
  • the individual would reasonably expect, or has been told, that information of that kind is usually passed to those individuals, bodies or agencies;
  • it is otherwise required or authorised by law; or
  • it will prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to somebody's life or health.

In order to properly manage our websites, we may log certain statistics about the users of the sites, for example the users' domains and browser types. None of this information specifically identifies an individual and it is used solely to ensure that our websites present the best possible navigational experience for visitors.

The Honeybees website provides a number of links to websites operated by third parties. The Honeybees is not responsible for the privacy practices or policies of those sites. We encourage you to review each website's privacy policy, especially if you intend to disclose any personal information via that site. A link to another non-Honeybees website is not an express or implied endorsement, promotion or warranty of the products or services offered by or accessible through that site or advertised on that site.

We take steps to protect the personal information we hold against loss, unauthorised access, use, modification or disclosure, and against other misuse.
 
When the personal information that we collect is no longer required, we destroy or delete it in a secure manner.

You can access the personal information that we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct the personal information we hold about you.
